In 2025, our 4000-5000 pcs/h waste paper egg tray machine was successfully delivered to Colombia, assisting a local egg wholesale and distribution company in upgrading its production.
This advanced equipment not only met the customer’s demand for efficient production and eco-friendly packaging but also opened up new profit channels for their business.
Customer background
The Colombian customer is a medium-sized egg wholesale and distribution company mainly serving supermarkets and restaurant chains in Bogotá and nearby cities.

As the business expanded, the customer realized that egg breakage rates during transportation were relatively high. Traditional plastic packaging was costly and failed to comply with Colombia’s increasingly strict environmental regulations.
To improve transportation safety and embrace sustainable packaging trends, the customer decided to establish its own waste paper egg tray production line. This would not only meet internal distribution needs but also supply eco-friendly egg trays to partner farms.
Challenges faced
Before introducing the new equipment, the customer encountered several difficulties.
First, the cost of purchasing plastic egg trays locally was high, and they were not recyclable, which increased operational pressure and led to customer complaints. Second, the customer relied on external suppliers for paper egg trays, but the unstable supply often caused delivery delays.

Finally, they needed an efficient solution that could utilize locally recycled waste paper, reduce costs, and ensure consistent tray quality to minimize egg damage during transportation.
4000-5000 pcs/h waste paper egg tray machine for sale
After multiple rounds of discussion and evaluation, the customer decided to invest in a 4000-5000 pcs/h waste paper egg tray machine production line. The line features a high level of automation, large output, and customizable molds.
It can recycle old cartons and newspapers as raw materials and produce different sizes of egg trays by simply changing molds. To ensure smooth implementation, we provided installation, commissioning, and operator training.
Additionally, customized molds were designed to improve the load-bearing and cushioning performance of trays, better suited to the customer’s distribution needs.

Implementation results
Once the equipment was put into operation, the customer achieved self-sufficiency in egg tray production. With a monthly capacity of 600,000-700,000 trays, the company not only covered its own distribution needs but also created a new revenue stream by selling excess trays.
Thanks to the efficient production line and stable product quality, the egg breakage rate during transport dropped by about 40%, and logistics costs were significantly reduced.
Moreover, by using waste paper as raw material, the customer gained a strong reputation for environmental responsibility and successfully established long-term partnerships with several major supermarket chains.

Conclusion
The customer expressed great satisfaction, stating that the 4000-5000 pcs/h waste paper egg tray machine not only solved the problem of egg breakage during delivery but also created additional profit opportunities. Compared with relying on external suppliers, the company now enjoys higher autonomy and flexibility in its supply chain.
Looking ahead, the customer plans to expand production capacity, develop egg trays in different sizes and colors, and make sustainability a core part of its brand promotion to further strengthen its market competitiveness.
